We pride ourselves on serving kosher, well-balanced, fresh meals and snacks. We continue to expand our lunch menu and are happy to present a varied (and colorful) menu including fresh vegetables, plant-based protein and salad items. Campers enjoy their meals in an air-conditioned chadar ochel (dining hall) – perfect for the hot days of summer. A sample weekly menu is provided below.
Macaroni & cheese, cooked carrots, green salad, selection of fruit (apples, plums, peaches).
Pizza bagels, green salad, orange slices.
Fish sticks, apple sauce, green salad, selection of fruit.
BBQ/Chicken, corn, green salad, watermellon
Veggie burgers, sliced tomatoes, green salad, watermelon.
Each day, your camper can also choose from the following foods: fruit or vanilla flavored yogurt (on dairy days), whole wheat bread, sunflower seed butter, American cheese, plain pasta, and plenty of fresh fruit.
Ramah is a nut-aware camp, so peanut and tree nut products are not offered. Outside food is not permitted on camp premises in order to ensure adherence to this policy.
We can also accommodate children who require a gluten-free, dairy-free, or other special diets. Our kitchen staff and medical staff will work closely with you to make sure that all of your child’s dietary needs are met.
