WEEK 2: July 6-10

9:00 Havdalah and Shirah – Amichai Margolis
Shavua Tov! Welcome in the week with Havdalah and camp wide shirah (singing) with Amichai the Music Guy.
10:00 Gym – Facilitated by Ramah Sports Academy
Coaches from Ramah Sports Academy will lead us in a fitness workout. The theme of this week’s workout will be ometz – the courage to try new things and push yourself.
11:00 Drama – Jamie Mittleman
Join Jamie Mittleman for fun drama games that will explore your uniqueness and creativity. Please make sure to bring a few pieces of paper and some markers.

9:00 Yoga – Joy Langer
Roll out your yoga mats (or blankets) and take off your socks and shoes for a fun yoga practice where you will learn new poses to keep you strong and flexible. We will learn how to control your breath to keep you calm and focuses.
10:00 Sha’ar – Donna Rudolph/Matanel Mann/Hila Marad
You are invited on an Ivrit (Hebrew) adventure around Israel with Donna, Hila and Matanel. We will continue making our way through Tel Aviv and then the start the climb north with a visit to the Kinneret.
11:00 Bishul – Naomi Saposh
Cooking has never been more fun and delicious. This week we will make fantastic fish tacos.

YOM GIBBORIM!

Each Wednesday of the summer will be a Yom Meyuchad, a special themed day. These week we are celebrating all the giborim (heroes) in our lives, including the superheroes and frontline workers.

9:00 Design-a-Hero
There are many heroes in our everyday lives. We will create and design our own personal superheroes! Please make sure to bring a few pieces of paper, a pencil or pen, and some makers or crayons.
10:00 Say Todah to our Community Heroes
Channel your artistic side as we make thank you signs for the essential workers and heroes in our own communities. We might even meet some real-life heroes! Please make sure to bring a few pieces of paper and some markers or crayons.
11:00 Hero Training Session 
Being a hero takes practice! Take part in an interactive story and help save the day! There will be fitness, fun, and dancing.

9:00 Field Trip to Israel – Orly Tamir
Join us for a tour of the Kinneret, the Sea of Galilee, in northern Israel! We’ll learn about the region and water in Israel! Stay tuned!
10:00 Omanut – Naamah Imir
This week we will make Firework Landscapes – to imagine fireworks that will light up the migrash with color!
11:00 Games – Aliza Sebert
Come one, come all to Mischakim (games) with Aliza! Every week we will play different games and activities, including pictionary, charades, and much more!

9:00 Sketching – Jen Kostman
Join Ramah Alum and published picture book illustrator, Jen Kostman, for sketching! We will introduce basic drawing techniques which should be a good warm up for the amazing artwork that we will be creating throughout the summer. You will need a sharpened pencil, eraser and paper.
10:00 Bim Bam Shabbat – Amichai Margolis and Rabbi Ami Hersh
We are excited to host Bim Bam PJ Shabbat for young families with The Leffell School. Welcome Shabbat with singing, stories, and fun!
11:00 Shishi al haMigrash
Join us on our migrash as we welcome in Shabbat with ruach and rikud.
